Ocupación humana: desde el significado a la significatividad

Resumen

Introducción: en el presente artículo, se realizará un análisis reflexivo y crítico de la noción de significado como aquello que provee de alto valor o importancia a las ocupaciones, así como también, de aquellos entendidos que muestran el concepto de significado como un fenómeno fundamental en la construcción de la identidad y de las culturas. Si bien no se niegan ni rechazan tales comprensiones, en nuestro trabajo, indagaremos en una tercera alternativa. Ésta tiene relación con cómo el filósofo Martin Heidegger desarrolla la noción de «significatividad» en íntima relación con el fenómeno de la ocupación, entendiendo al ser humano de forma unitaria e inseparable, en el mundo. Método: así, luego de una exhaustiva revisión bibliográfica. Conclusión: se plantea que el fenómeno de la «significatividad» nos brinda nuevas posibilidades de comprender al ser humano ocupado siempre ya en un contexto situado, esto es, en un contexto de significatividad. Tales reflexiones y propuestas permitirían acceder a una nueva comprensión de cómo la terapia ocupacional podría acceder al fenómeno de la ocupación humana y replantearse, así, el cómo y horizonte de su praxis.
