Recensión. Razonamiento diagnóstico en terapia ocupacional: un componente del razonamiento clínico

Resumen

El artículo muestra el concepto de razonamiento diagnóstico y diagnóstico ocupacional por primera vez en la disciplina. Su importancia radica en la creación futura del conocimiento asociado que se vincula con la capacidad de análisis del propio terapeuta ocupacional para refutar sus hipótesis en la evaluación. En la discusión se aborda de manera breve la necesidad de seguir investigando este concepto y extender el uso de su práctica en el cuerpo profesional de terapeutas ocupacionales.

The article shows the concept of diagnostic reasoning and occupational diagnosis for the first time in the discipline. Its importance relies on the future creation of the associated knowledge, which is linked with the ability of the own occupational therapist’s analysis for refuting his/her hypothesis in the assessment process. In the discussion, it is aborded briefly the need of researching this concept and extending its use for the practise of the occupational therapy practitioners.
